Playing around with new themes can be an easy and fun way to revitalize your site when the seasons change or when you just want something new.
You can customize WordPress extensively through many available Themes. To find a new theme, log into your WP Dashboard and click on "Appearance," then "Themes." From there, select the "Install Themes" tab at the top of the screen. You can search for themes based on colors, features or by keyword.
When you have found a theme you want to try out, click the "Install" link or button. This will place the theme into your Manage Themes area, from where you can Activate it. Many themes have settings you can change, which will show up under Appearance -> Theme Options, Background, and Headers. Each of those pages have configurable options for you to play with, and many allow for custom header images.
